The first day of SCALE has come and gone, and was a resounding success. 
Over 700 people came, and as a result the Expo floor was busy and all four
speaker tracks were well attended.

Registration opens at 9 a.m. on Sunday (don't forget to bring your parking
ticket in with you for validation).  If you register on-line prior to
arriving, use the promo code SCLRT for a discount.

There are four more excellent speaker tracks on Saturday.  Here are some
of the speakers:

John Terpstra will review the progress made by Open Source Software from
1980 over a 25 year period. He'll compare market developments of
commercial and OS software, and examine critical points of divergence.

Jim Winstead will cover new features in MySQL 5.0, 5.1, and future versions.

Mark Spencer will discuss all aspects of VoIP solutions.
